Troy and Diane’s Chic Chicago Wedding
Troy and Diane chose Chicago as the city for their wedding celebration. The location was the Prairie Production, an events venue and photography studio that’s permanently closed down. Its industrial-themed interiors lent a vintage urban vibe to the celebration. With the exposed brick walls, open pipes, and antique furniture and decor, Prairie Production’s large floor-to-ceiling windows allowed natural light to flow in and create a fun and eclectic scene for the venue.
Diane had three dresses on her wedding day, designed by Ultimate Bride, Bella Bianca, and Dimitra. The first outfit she wore featured a boat neck floor-length train that extended behind her as a statement piece, covering a simple A-line dress. Diane’s hair was done in a simple yet elegant updo, styled by Duc from Salon Buzz, and her wedding makeup was done by Tracy Fine of Fine Makeup Art & Associates. Her bridal bouquet featured an assortment of simple white and pink blooms provided by Flowers For Dreams. Diane’s entourage all came in pastel peach-colored gowns and simple white bouquets.
Troy wore a timeless navy blue tuxedo with a white dress shirt, and a blue printed tie as a fun twist on the ensemble. A simple white floral boutonniere punctuated the groom’s outfit. His groomsmen all sported the same printed tie against gray tuxedos for a pop of color.
The photos were shot at different venues across Chicago, featuring the stunning cityscape, an indoor garden, and a Barrel Run brewery tour bus.
The Wedding Ceremony
Troy and Diane are a family-oriented and traditional couple and their heartfelt wedding celebration was a testament to their love. After walking down the aisle and exchanging vows with one another, the bride and groom’s families bestowed traditional wedding wreaths around their necks. Troy and Diane also had a traditional cord ceremony, which symbolizes the bride and groom’s connection and commitment to one another.
After the ceremony, guests dined on a sumptuous meal prepared by private chef Eric Vollono. Guests could also nibble on sweet baked treats from a dessert bar set up at the venue. The wedding cake was a four-tiered pink and white creation adorned with carnations atop a single pink macaroon.
The party finally went into full swing with music provided by Chicago-based DJ Funk. The entire wedding was planned by Estera Events, photographed by Sweet Paper Media, and videography was courtesy of Neveah.
